Raven's Story
Raven is a 5 1/2 year old mix looking for something pretty simple in life, a person to love, a comfy place to land, and preferably a spot on the couch when she's invited up. She's an affectionate girl who absolutely loves being petted, and if you really want to win her over, chest rubs and scratches under her armpits are the way to her heart.

At home, Raven is an easy roommate. She is potty trained and is used to going outside about four times a day. She may have an occasional accident a few times a month, but overall she does very well with her routine. She isn't crate trained because she really hasn't needed to be, Raven does well being left loose in the house.

She's also a smart cookie! Raven knows sit, down, off, high five, and up. She enjoys going for leash walks, loves car rides, and is always happy to settle in with a good bone. She also has a funny little preference for drinking running water whenever she gets the opportunity.

Raven would really love to be your one and only. Small dogs aren't a good match for her, she may bark at them, and her play style can be much too rough for little friends. Because of this, we think Raven will be happiest in a home without other pets, where she can have all of her family's attention to herself.

Underneath it all, Raven has a sensitive heart. Loud voices and yelling can scare her, and thunderstorms are pretty scary too. Nail trims definitely aren't on her list of favorite activities, either! She'll thrive with people who can be patient with her and help her feel safe when things get overwhelming.

Raven already has so many of the things people hope for in a companion, she's affectionate, house trained, trustworthy loose in the home, knows several commands, walks on leash, rides well in the car, and loves spending time with her people.

She doesn't need to share her home with a bunch of furry siblings. She'd much rather be someone's one and only girl.
