She came to us as a stray, and for the past 85 days she has been patiently waiting for someone to see just how special she truly is. From day one, Raven has been nothing but kind, gentle, and sweet with everyone she meets.<br/>Yes, Raven has a "messed up" eye -- but we all know that a small imperfection doesn't define her worth. If anything, it makes her even more unique and unforgettable. It certainly doesn't stop her from loving with her whole heart. She deserves a chance just like any other dog -- and she will repay that chance with endless loyalty and affection.<br/>Raven has been doing well with her kennel mates and enjoys the company of other dogs. We're not sure how she does with cats, and while she hasn't been formally tested with kids, her gentle and loving nature makes us believe she would do wonderfully. We also don't yet know if she's house or crate trained, but with patience and love, she's sure to learn quickly.<br/>At 67 pounds, Raven is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccinations -- including rabies. She is healthy, ready, and so deserving of a real home.<br/>Raven Caskey deserves to live her life to the fullest -- to run in a yard, to nap on a comfy bed, to feel safe, and to become so happy that she never stops smiling. She's waited long enough. Please be the one who shows her that her forever starts now. 🐾<br/><br/>Raven's Adoption Fee is $53Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
