Raven's Story

Raven was surrendered to a county shelter. She is extremely scared and barks at everyone until she learns to trust. She needs a lap to feel safe and someone to love and protect her. The woman who surrendered her just handed her over and told the tech that Raven was their problem now. We have only had her for 4 days and she is learning to trust. Her current foster just informed us that she can't foster any longer because she had health issues and wasn't able to care for Raven any longer. She needs a quiet family with no children and one who understands that everyone is a giant to her and will give her time to trust. She is a sweet little girl once you get to that point. If you want a loving lap pup who wants to be with you once you have passed the trust test, contact Rainbow Animal Rescue at 7574721583 or rainbowanimalrescueva@gmail.com

We do not have our own facility and must rely on a few fosters to keep the rescued animals until we can get them adopted. 4. Our animals are inside family members and are not to be left alone outside. 5. We try very hard to have the animals socialized so they can become loving family members. 6. Many of our animals have been abandoned, abused, etc. and must have families that will be patient and give the animal time to adjust. 7. Any animal that does not work out for whatever reason must be returned to a member of Rainbow Animal Rescue. They cannot be turned over to Animal Control, SPCA, etc. 8. If you want to complete an application, click on the Adoption Application link, save the file to your desktop, complete it, save it again, and send it to rainbowanimalrescue@cox.net as an e-mail attachment. 9.
