Raven

Hi my name is Raven, and I am a very sweet loving girl just looking for a home to call my own. I was rescued in rural Louisiana and was very skinny when they found me. My hope was running out when a rescue group gave me a second chance, but I have been in boarding for quite some time now. I am hoping the new year will bring me a human or family of my own. I am very calm, do not jump or bark a lot. I am house trained, walk on a leash, know how to sit when asked and am very very food motivated. (Probably from having to go without for so long) I have filled out to be a full-figured girl and my future owner will need to walk me and monitor my love for treats. I am not aggressive, but some people think I look that way. I'm just misunderstood! My heart is big and it is full of love to share. <br/><br/>It would be best if I had a home with no other animals or at least one that is older, and calm like me. I may not like to share food, but I am not food aggressive. Ideally a mature person or couple that would love to sit and cuddle and let me be their daily companion would be best, however I have been around children and am fine with them, but my days of chasing kids and toys may be behind me. <br/><br/>I am considered a senior girl at age 6 or 7 but I have many good days left in me and would love to be someone's snuggle buddy. <br/><br/>If you have a place for me in your heart and in your home, please consider me. The boarding shelter I am in has lots of dogs and I hope someone will notice me among the younger more bouncy pups. I promise I will be a good girl and love you for the rest of my days.
