Raspberry's Story
Raspberry is a cute little girl who's overcome quite a serious case of shyness to become a sweet, playful, more confident puppy. At first, she wouldn't go near a leash and would only let us visit her in her kennel. With lots of patience, and baby steps of progress, we have finally gotten Raspberry to walk out the door on her own four feet, into the fresh air and sunshine. Outside, she seems joyful and curious, and is quite interactive with her human companions. As a pit bull puppy, Raspberry will need to begin her obedience training soon so that she can grow into adulthood as a good canine citizen. She certainly has the right characteristics for it: an eagerness to please, a quick-forming loyalty, and lots of smarts!
