Rascal's Story

You little Rascal ... wait that's my name! You'll be saying that phrase, what with my fun and playful personality once we become new best friends. I have a lot of young dog energy that would love a fenced yard to play in or to sunbathe in for a short period of time. I am not a dog for a first time pet parent as I require someone with experience to help me be the best version of myself. My ideal home would be one that doesn't have other four legged friends or children as I'm not always a big fan of them. I would really love to have a forever home soon because I have a lot of life and love to give. I have been neutered, vaccinated including rabies, negative for heartworms, wormed and micro-chipped.<br/><br/>Note: To adopt, you must live within approximately 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age.<br/><br/>Note: It is unknown whether Rascal is house trained.

Benld Adopt-A-Pet's Adoption Policy

To adopt you must live within 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld, O’Fallon or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age. We require that you be physically present to make the final adoption arrangements. We also require that all cats be kept indoors, and that all dogs be kept or live indoors, with a secure fenced-in yard or pen for when they are outside, unless otherwise discussed and mutually agreed upon ahead of time. Failure to comply with any of these requirements may constitute sufficient grounds for our reclaiming the adopted animal. In order to adopt, you must first complete an Adoption Inquiry, and upon approval, an Adoption Agreement.
