Meet Rascal ! A happy shepherd mix pup, At just 5 months old, this handsome shepherd is all puppy- Goofy, playful, and full of life. He's a big, friendly boy who loves to engage with people and soak up attention. Because get much enrichment in his previous home, he can be a bit mouthy at times, but its typical puppy behavior and comes from boredom- not bad intentions. This sweet guy is eager to learn and would thrive with Basic training (inquire with one of our staff members), structure, and plenty of mental and physical exercise. With the right guidance, he's going to grow to be an amazing companion. He's playful, social, and ready for an active home that understands puppies take time, patience, and consistency. Tri-City Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Texas Driver's License, and fill out a pre-adoption application. The adoption fee for our pets is $75.00. For the dogs it includes a DA2PPV vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, sterilization, microchip with registration, and a heartworm test (if old enough) and collar. For the cats, it includes an FVRCCP vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, sterilization, microchip with registration, cardboard carrier, and a collar. State law requires that all pets adopted from an animal shelter be spayed or neutered and vaccinated against rabies. Adopted pets will be taken by shelter staff to a participating local veterinarian for sterilization within the next two business days. The adopter can pick up the pet from the vet clinic after the surgery has been completed. If the pet you are adopting is not able to be sterilized or rabies vaccinated at the time of adoption, you will sign an agreement to have this done within a specified amount of time.
