Rango's Story

After over fifteen years in rescue we have learned that dogs who are favorites of those at the shelter are so worth considering for rescue. Rango was brought into St Frances Animal Center by animal control with a deeply embedded collar. It's suspected that he was chained outside and chewed his way free (thank goodness). He was rushed to the medical team where his collar was removed and he stayed in medical recovery for almost two months while he healed.

When I learned that he was so loved at the shelter and the staff was determined to find him a rescue or a home I could not say no when asked to take him on as a Diamond Dog.

With all the reports, photos and videos of him at his foster's, Dog Boarding at the Beach, I am grateful he was sent our way. He's an awesome pup. Every picture I see him in he is surrounded by dogs who want to play with him. He's a happy pup who will find nicely into someones' family and home.

Our Mission
Our rescue focus is on adult dogs from the southeast that are in high kill shelters. Our plan is to fully vet as needed, evaluate and train as needed in preparation for adoption. We place our rescues in a foster home setting to prepare our dogs for a home of their own and to determine the best match for that rescue.
