Ranger

Once you meet Ranger, you’ll know he’s the dog for you! Gentle, playful, beautiful and loving—he’ll be the perfect companion for your family. Ranger, who’s about 1 ½ to 2 years old, came to us when his owners had to move to an apartment and couldn’t keep him any longer. He gets along well with other dogs, but he will fight back if relentlessly provoked by another dog. We’re not sure about cats, but he’s wonderful with humans, both male and female, and kids, too. He loves to go on car rides, and he’s accustomed to a crate if you choose to crate him, but he’s very docile and doesn’t really need one. He knows his name and responds when you call him. He understands the word “No” very well. He’s incredibly affectionate and loves to have his belly rubbed. (Who doesn’t?) Ranger is extremely smart, very good-natured and house-trained. He’s healthy, neutered and up-to-date on all his vetting. As soon as you meet him, you’ll want to take him home.
