Ranger's Story

Ranger is an 8-year-old, 39-lb blonde shepherd mix with the sweetest soul. A bit shy and unsure at first (can you blame him after being returned through no fault of his own?), Ranger just needs a little time and love to feel safe again. Beneath that nervous exterior is a gentle, loyal heart ready to bond. He's a proud PP alumni, patiently waiting for his forever home where he can finally exhale and just be loved.

Paws Place Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process can take anywhere from 5-10 days. We require that you meet the dog in person before submitting an application. If you have had a previous dog in the past 5 years we do a veterinary reference check to see consistency of care. If you have a current dog we arrange a dog introduction. After the above steps are completed we set up a home visit to see where the dog will be living. The final step is the completion of the adoption agreement
