Ranger's Story
Ranger is a giant bobble head of a dog! Based on his head size you would think he is a very large dog, but no, his head is just disproportionately large for his body! Ranger is a very sweet and cuddly boy who will literally do anything for some belly scratches. Ranger is about 55-60 lbs. He was found as a stray in Wichita, KS but he has definitely had a home previously. He already knows many basic commands such as sit, down, shake, and kennel up. He also loves to play fetch and tag and thinks humans trying to play chase is just the funniest thing. He does wonderful in a bath and will just give you the largest puppy eyes. Ranger is a young dog somewhere between 1-3 years old. He does well at the vet and his only problem is he is so wiggly!! He thinks everything is just a fun game. He is fully potty trained.

Ranger does not like to be kenneled so we are working on his crate training. He will whine a little bit when you first put him in but settles down for a nap after a bit. We have not directly tested Ranger with other dogs but he does bark at them as they walk by his kennel so at this time we are figuring he is not good with other dogs or cats.

Ranger is very cuddly and would love to be your best friend! We believe he is Chow Chow mixed with Australian Cattle Dog (he has the quintessential purple tongue). He comes to an office job with me sometimes and does great, just lays by us all day!
