Ranger's Story

Meet Ranger!

Ranger is approx 1.5 years old and should weigh around 60ish lbs once he fills out. He's on the skinny side at the moment and needs to gain a few...currently weighs about 55 lbs. He has the most beautiful ice blue eyes.

He was pulled from a very over crowded shelter in Modesto by the good folks at Hair of the Dog Rescue with only a couple hours to spare before being euthanized. In a shelter packed with dogs, it's not always easy to stand out from the crowd and get adopted but he was shelter staff favorite and is a certified good boy.

Ranger is currently fostered with other dogs and has not had any issues however if you have another dog, we would want to do a meet and greet with them to make sure they get along. Cats and other small animals are not recommended as he does have a prey drive.

Ranger is friendly with people and is very playful. He is not loud and vocal like some huskies tend to be. He would make a great hiking, jogging, walking buddy. He loves playing with tennis balls and could turn into a fetch pro! He could use some basic training but is eager to learn and please.

If you are interested in meeting this great guy, please fill out the application below and a volunteer will get back to you soon

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HOTD/Dog
