Ranger's Story

IF YOU CAN SEE THIS POST, I AM STILL AVAILABLE AND LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER FAMILY

Meet Ranger! This awesome boy is now fostered in Vancouver, WA! He is a happy guy that is looking for his forever family. He likes all the dogs & humans! Ranger is 10ish months old & 68lbs and we think he is a Shepherd/Heeler Mix.

Ranger is the sweetest boy! He has very soulful eyes & he has a soft spot for kids. His foster family has children ranging from 5-17 and is very gentle with them! Ranger especially loves his belly rubs & he has done well with other dogs. He plays well with his two foster siblings and also does well listening to them when they do not want to engage. Ranger sleeps like a dream on a dog bed in our room and doesn’t make a peep all night. He is much unhappier in his crate, and will let you know his feelings about it.

Ranger would love to have a family with children and/or a dog friend. He hasn’t had any potty accidents in his foster home! Ranger is the occasional sock or shoe thief, but will drop it when asked. He has an amazing tail helicopter spin that will make you smile! Ranger walks nicely on a leash, likes to chase a ball & will even bring it back to you. He was barky when he met the cat but didn’t try to eat her. Ranger has a good running pace and look to my person for direction. He is at the perfect age to start training. We do think he’d do best in a home without roaming chickens.

Apply today & the adoption coordinator will be in touch: bit.ly/delnorteadoption

or apply at milasmutts.org under available dogs

Medical Done:
.
