Ranger's Story
Ranger is a handsome yellow lab mix who was surrendered by his family saying they can’t keep him anymore. He is terrified in the shelter as this is not a good environment for most dogs, but he is coming around. He is right at two years old and has been neutered now. He is ready to find his forever home. He will need someone who’s very patient with him while he learns to navigate this new world he’s been thrown into. He is very sweet once he gets to know you. He hasn’t been around other dogs in his previous home but doesn’t seem to dislike them now and is not reactive to other dogs. Any potential dog sibling would need to be tested with him before being adopted. He would do best in a home with older (teenage or above) children, as he is a rough but fun playmate.
