RANGER's Story
Arrived 1-23-26

This handsome young man is RANGER, a 3 year old male husky mix that was surrendered to HOPE along with 9 others following a neglect case. RANGER is one of the youngest of the bunch and also the most timid of the males. We suspect he may not have had as much socialization or human interaction as the others. He is a very sweet, gentle boy but he does get nervous and tenses up when you go to pet him. We are working on just sitting with him and calmly interacting with him to let him know he is safe now. He does come out of his shell a little more on his walks. They were outside dogs so being out and about is probably a little easier for him to adjust to than the kennel life. With that being said, we want all of these dogs to be INDOOR dogs and not left outside alone even though that is all they have ever known. They deserve a warm bed, love and care for the rest of their lives.

RANGER is currently underweight at about 40lbs but is slowly gaining since being with us.
