RANGER

Ranger is a six year old beagle with the energy and curiosity of a much younger pup! He loves other dogs and is politely indifferent to cats — though he loves food! <br/><br/>As a beagle, he’s a natural scent tracker and a talker; barking is core to the beagle breed! He is a fast learner and would benefit from training as he gets to know you and your family better. <br/><br/>Expert snuggler, loves treats, praise and human affection. Might be a little nervous if you leave him alone but he’s so smart he’ll learn to trust you in no time.<br/><br/>Loves being outside and taking walks, but still needs to learn how to not pull on the leash. <br/><br/>He’s been through a lot and needs some love and patience to help him be the best version of himself. A quiet home would be best so he can recover from some tough times on his past.<br/><br/>A few things he might do because of feeling overwhelmed:<br/>- drink lots of water (and then have an accident)<br/>- nibble on you<br/>- pace the room<br/>- beg for bread ? <br/>- bark for attention<br/><br/>He knows the command Sit and will come back to you if you whistle. He doesn't really know his name so maybe it's time for a new one!<br/><br/>Bonus points if you'd like to learn alongside Ranger; we think some reactivity training would help him bark less and walk like a pro!<br/><br/>Loves peanut butter, baby carrots, plain white bread and all manner of dog treats :) he has been enjoying goats' milk and no hide chews as well
