He has idiopathic epilepsy that is well controlled with daily medication and does well with a consistent routine.<br/><br/>Randy is a true velcro dog—affectionate, loyal, and happiest when close to his person. He’s non-aggressive, quietly curious, and full of classic hound personality. He does well with other dogs and has been more curious than anything else around them; his compatibility with cats is currently unknown. Car rides are his absolute favorite and instantly help him relax, and he enjoys calm sniff-focused walks, yard time, and quiet companionship nearby. He’s making steady progress with basic training and potty habits, and he responds best to gentle, positive guidance.<br/><br/>Uncertain of his past Randy does have separation anxiety and can be sensitive to loud voices or sudden movements.
