Randy and Mandy's Story
Hi. We are Randy and Mandy. We are a bonded pair of Chihuahuas. We are about 3 and 5 years old respectively. We weight about 7# and 6# respectively but Randy needs to gain about 2# to be an ideal weight. It's not that his fosters don't feed him enough, he just doesn't eat very much and, if food is left out, I (Mandy) eat it all :). We do get along with the other little dogs in our foster home but we would be just as happy if we were the only 2 dogs so we could get all the attention and love.<br/>We came to rescue after being picked up as strays. The people in the neighborhood where we were found said we had been running for a week or two. When we first came to our foster home, we were a bit scared but we got over that fast because we know we are safe here! Because we start off a bit nervous, kids (both resident and visiting) should be respectful and 10 and over. We are crate and house trained and we prefer to be in the same crate or at least right next to each other. We prefer not to go outside but will if you carry us out. We do require a physically fenced yard but must be attended at all times because we are little enough to slip out of the smallest space. We are neutered and spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on preventatives. Our adoption donation is $550 for both of us. If you think you would like to give us our forever home, please email angelpawspet2023@gmail.com to request an application.
