We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!<br/><br/>———————<br/><br/>RAMSEY is a shy guy, but he’s incredibly soft-hearted and kind. He’s the type who may hang back, watching and taking everything in, but you can tell there’s so much love waiting once he feels safe.<br/><br/>Ramsey didn’t have an easy start to life. He spent his time living outdoors, sharing a small pen with several other dogs and relying on a single doghouse that was never meant to protect them all. Despite that, he remains kind, soft, and full of quiet hope.<br/><br/>He’s looking for a patient, understanding home where he can move at his own pace and continue building confidence. A friendly, social dog in the home would be a big help for Ramsey and could really show him the ropes.<br/><br/>Leash walking is still a little scary for him, so he’ll need someone willing to take things slow and celebrate the small victories. With love, consistency, and time, Ramsey has everything it takes to blossom into a wonderful companion. <br/><br/>Could this gentle guy be the one you’ve been waiting for? <br/><br/>Ramsey is a 2 year old Border Collie mix and he weighs 43 lbs. <br/><br/>Sadly, Ramsey tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, Ramsey will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions!<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
