My name is RALPH!<br/><br/>I am a 1-year, 7-month old Labrador / Pit mix.<br/><br/>Here is everything the Shelter staff and volunteers have learned about me during my time here:<br/><br/>ENERGY LEVEL<br/>High – I am a dog that will do best with an active person or family.<br/>• I would love to get up and go adventure with you!<br/>• I am easily excited, which means I can get mouthy/jumpy and worked up. <br/>• I would do best with positive outlets for my energy and a calm environment. <br/><br/>SKILLS<br/>• While at the shelter I have shown staff that I have basic training and know sit and shake!<br/><br/>TOYS<br/>• I really enjoy playing with toys.<br/><br/>LEASH<br/>• I walk well on a leash but can be strong when I get excited.<br/><br/>PLAYGROUP – While at the shelter I have participated in playgroups.<br/>• I can be picky about my canine companions. <br/><br/>MISCELLANEOUS<br/>• I need a home *WITHOUT* cats or other small animals - I like to chase them!<br/>• Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks.<br/>• I really enjoy the company of my human friends.<br/>• It is recommended that I meet any current dogs living in the home prior to getting adopted.<br/>• I may do better with an experienced owner - I'm a big strong guy!<br/><br/><br/>For more information about how to meet adoptable animals, please call the Jackson County Animal Shelter at 541-774-6654 and press 5 for adoptions.
