Ralph #6's Story
Ralph #6 is an extremely handsome 3-year-old, 80-pound yellow Labrador Retriever who has been well cared for but recently lost his home. He starts a bit shy, but once he meets you, he’s friendly and eager to connect. Ralph loves people, enjoys time with his foster siblings, and has a true passion for water and fetch. He’s a loyal, driven retriever who thrives on companionship and interactive play, and he’s proven himself in doggy day care and at dog-friendly pubs. This smart boy already knows sit, down, come, and is house-trained and crate-trained. Ralph has a medium energy level and is happiest when he has a buddy to play with—whether that’s his human or a foster brother/sister. He’s great with other dogs in general, but can become possessive of his ball during retrieve games, so toy sharing should be monitored. On leash, Ralph can be a bit defensive when meeting new dogs, so slow, supervised introductions are best. With patience, positive reinforcement, and a loving routine, Ralph is sure to thrive in a calm, experienced home that can continue his socialization and training. Please contact us if you would like Ralph to join your family!

For additional information about Ralph #6 please email Deb Cook Keavy: deb.cook.keavy@labs4rescue.org

Ralph #6 is being fostered in Connecticut.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full service website, (https://labs4rescue.com/adopt).
