Raisin's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Raisin came to us from the Downey shelter. He and Scout weren't doing well in that environment. Both boys came from an animal hoarding situation and hadn't been handled by people. We've worked for months gaining their trust and letting them relax around other people and dogs. We are now accepting applications. Raisin is crate trained, and takes treats very gently. He is not food aggressive and loves to run around. Raisin is slower to accept change and is more easily stressed. These boys would do best to be rehomed together.

Potential applicants should either be located in San Diego County and willing to attend training sessions to help with the bond with the new dog, or if living outside of San Diego County, have an approved trainer that you will be working with. R+ a must, Fear Free preferred.
