Raisin's Story

Raisin is a delightful little cattle dog with a sweet and kind personality. Really! If she was a snark, we'd laughingly tell you of all of her naughty shenanigans, but she's just not. She's sweet and easy and go with the flow, a happy little sprite of a dog who absolutely loves to stare at you with the most endearing smile. Is she velcro? She is velcro, absolutely. Typical little blue shadow of dog tagging along on any adventure you can dream up.

Little miss Raisin was found stray and had been out there for a while, or her people just were not feeding her so she left. Matters not, she's been fully vetted, spayed and microchipped, onwards and upwards for this perfect little soul. She's probably around 1.5ish years old, she's a smidge over 30lbs and has been a lovely house guest since she arrived. Raisin is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, isn't particularly destructive if you don't count the corners of her bed (there's stuffing in there, dontchaknow!), she adores other dogs, thinks kids are neat and is terrified of that horrid, scary cat!

Have you been looking for a sort of entry level ACD? A heeler with all of the big smarts for doing things, but none of the snotty traits they have a reputation for? Raisin may just be the gal for you. We can see her as a chore dog for compliant stock, a best buddy to try out dog sports at the local venues, and a sidekick for adventures in and out of town. Roadtrip shotgun? ACDs are second to none for travel adventures.

Interested? Drop by southofthebully.com and fill out an adoption application, we can’t wait to see who gets to be her person!
