Raisa's Story

ADOPT RAISA
F | 3Y | 23.8KG | Mixed Breed | Spayed | UTD on shots | Best as only pet | Kid friendly | Fostered in Crystal Beach

Meet our radiant Raisa! A seasoned squirrel hunter and a chill girl, she is a dog that any human would be lucky to have in their lives!

She is not one for the city, as the loud noises can be stressful. And while they say "the city never sleeps", Raisa sure does! Early-afternoon nap, late-afternoon nap, pre-night-time nap. When is it not a good time for a nap? But when she isn't catching Z's, she is heading on walks to adventure in the great outdoors!

When you first meet her, it can take her a bit to warm up to you (even longer for males). But once she is warmed up, she is coming in hot! With a strong preference for human company, you will have a wonderful companion to hang out with when working or chilling at home.

Raisa has made great progress on everything while in her foster home, from building trust to learning neat tricks! She has gained great confidence (and we are so proud of her for it!), but the confidence still has a lot of room for improvement, so she may not vibe well with another dog in the house. Without having met a kitty, we don't know how she will do with them. Therefore, her forever family will need to treat this area with extra special care, including proper introductions and boundary setting, if they wish for her to potentially befriend felines. Raisa is in love with her human-foster sibling, so it is possible she can do well in a home with school-aged kids or older.

Sure, she is a gentle sweetie, but when she wants to, she can show off her Lightning McQueen speed! And she will just as quickly capture your heart <3
