His mama, Cherry, has three puppies with the names of cherry varieties. The Rainier cherry is considered a premium, sweet cherry, and we think this puppy is sweet with a premium personality! This precious pup has quickly nestled himself into his foster family's hearts and his playful, sweet personality is the perfect mix of calm and fun! Rainier is about 14 lbs, 3 months old, and is a terrier mix. His momma is only 24 lbs, but we have no idea who dad was and how big he may get. <br/><br/>Rainier has a loving, calmer personality than his siblings. He loves to cuddle and sit on your lap. He can be a bit shy in new situations at first; it's been a joy to watch him gain confidence as he gets more comfortable. He has a sleek, short coat with handsome white markings. His eyes are inquisitive and trusting and we have no doubt that he will be a loyal companion to his forever family. Rainier loves playing with his siblings, loves to cuddle with all people, and will consistently fetch his squeaky toys to be thrown again and again! He will require a family that is home more often than not and who has the time to exercise and take him to training. A resident dog in the family is also recommended. <br/><br/>Rainier is started on preventatives, up-to-date on vaccines, and will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. He is working hard at housetraining and is reliably paper trained. Rainier will be ready for his new home in early March. He deserves the very best home and will provide his forever home with endless love! <br/><br/>Adoption application, home visit and adoption fee required. Look under VOLUNTEER tab.<br/><br/>As part of our adoption agreement, we require that you and your adopted canine attend a minimum of one group basic obedience course within 4 months of adoption. If adopting a puppy under 4 months old, we also require a group puppy socialization course be started immediately upon adoption.<br/><br/>In addition, we require that puppies under 6 months of age will not be alone for more than 4 hours at a time in an 8 hour workday.
