Raine's Story

Our rescue pets are available for adoption anywhere in the United States and Germany. We highly encourage out of state adoption!

Raine is adoptable to only a specific type of person. She needs management to be upkept to thrive. I would also call her dog selective. She does best with smaller male dogs and calm dogs. She is not good with other females (unless management is really strict). Raine is a sweet and silly girl who is kind of a velcro dog. She does well around other dogs with proper management. She loves to carry toys around! She is crate trained, place trained, leash trained and e-collar trained. She will need an owner that can exercise her needs and continue her training! She is very motivated to work and train. She is required to go to a home where e-collar training is continuous. Raine is blind in her right eye, though it doesn't seem to affect her much! She still loves her person, her doggy friends and playing ball!

Raine does have a bite history. With proper management, she can be guided properly and safely! She is a wonderful dog given proper structure and handling.

All of our animals are rescued from high-kill shelters of California or off the streets and given a second chance. We are a smaller rescue that depends on fosters and adopters to rescue more animals. Raine is just one of many dogs that gets placed on the euthanasia list.
