Raider's Story

Raider loves being around people and kids. He’s always ready to suit up for family fun. He’s also good with cats and would make a great playmate for another dog or cat in the house. Raider has lots of playful, affectionate energy and is happy to join his family on any activity, regardless of it being at home or outside. He is a cuddly boy and is happiest getting scratches and pets from his family.

Raider looks forward to going on lots of walks throughout the day, and is still working on his manners. He gets so excited to see other dogs along the walking route that he may give a bark and lots of tail wags. He is doing very well with redirection in those moments.

His foster mom is always getting stopped on her walks with him because he is so cute and friendly! He’s smart, agile, and trainable. Because he’s larger for a Pom and loves a little rough-and-tumble fun, he’d be a great fit for an active household with kids who enjoy playtime. He’s still working on potty training, so he’ll need a patient family to help him finish strong. With his winning personality, sweet nature, and eagerness to please, Raider is sure to be a first-round draft pick in your heart.
