Radish's Story

Hi….I’m Radish! I’m a 10-month-old Lab mix, about 45 pounds, and I came into rescue with my two brothers after a very rough start in life. Because of that, the world is still a big, unfamiliar place for me — but every day I’m learning what it means to feel safe.

I’m the shy one of the group. New people and new experiences can make me pause, and I need a little time to take things in. But if you move gently, give me space, and let me come to you when I’m ready, something really special happens. My tail starts to wag, my eyes soften, and you’ll see the sweet, gentle soul I’ve been holding onto. I’m not loud or pushy — I’m a quiet boy who bonds deeply once he knows he’s loved.

I do wonderfully with other dogs and also gets along well with cats and respectful children, making him a great fit for a calm, patient home. I’m fully vetted — neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives.

I may be shy, but I have a huge heart just waiting for the right family. With patience, kindness, and a little time, I know I’ll bloom into the loyal, loving companion I was always meant to be. I’m being fostered in Albion, Michigan, and my adoption fee is $350.

Please apply to adopt me here:
https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/691e3a1a84e63f11a600ce53

———

If interested, please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder.
