Radar's Story

Radar and his brother, Hoagie, were rescued together; a very lucky day for them. They had been listed as Doberman Pinschers, and they passed their temperament tests at their animal shelter. When their shelter ran out of room for dogs in the available-dogs section, another shelter agreed to take them. At the last minute, however, the other shelter backed out, leaving the brothers with nowhere to go. They were scheduled to be put down the next day. So...one of our people went to view them and discovered that they aren't "quite" Dobies, but they were friendly and handsome, and best of all, they could share a kennel. We'll be happy to place them individually or together. They're about 2 years old.

Dobie and Little Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please fill out an adoption application and email it to us at dobierescue@earthlink.net You can then make an appointment to meet the dogs that match what you're looking for if we have any appropriate candidates. Male Dobermans are a $300 donation and currently females are $350. Unfortunately we are having a really hard time getting spay appointments and we have to pay more for their surgeries so we have to ask a higher donation to make ends meet. All dogs go home spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and with a collar/ID tag.
