Rachel's Story

Meet Rachel! Rachel is a 6-year-old, 67.8 lbs, female German Shepherd. Rachel is a beautiful and sweet lady with a gentle soul. She will need a patient family who can take things slow and give her time to settle in. She is an easy leash walker and once she gets to know you, she will stick to you like glue. In true shepherd fashion, she bonds deeply with her people and has a lot of love to give. Rachel would prefer a child free home simply because the fast and unpredictable movements of kiddos are rather stressful to her. Rachel does do well with other dogs, she prefers calmer canine pals over rambunctious ones. Rachel would do great as an only dog in a calm, quiet home.

The adoption fee is $80. This includes the spay/neuter, dental cleaning, microchip, heartworm test, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation and all core vaccines.

If you are interested in adopting Rachel, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Rachel" in the subject. Please also tell us about yourself and your household.
