Rachel's Story
Phoebe and Rachel were left in a box outside of PetSmart in March 2019 on one of the coldest days of that year when they were about 5 weeks old. PetSmart contacted Peggy's animal rescue.

Peggy was able to find them a home.
Recently, the father went in the hospital and Rachel and Phoebe were surrendered to Animal Control! They were so terrified the five day hold period, wondering when their family would rescue them!

The family DID not!😔

Think about it. Think about how they started out. Scared, outside in the freezing cold waiting for someone to rescue them. Then being found, and a home that was perfect for them. They were so happy! They could forget about their terrible beginning! But then all of a sudden, they lost all the love and stability that they had known. And once again, they are scared and don't have the love and closeness they knew! They are looking for that again. They know it's out there. They're just waiting on the family to find them.

They would be the perfect dogs for an older couple! They do great in a vehicle.

There is a separate posting for Phoebe.

They are 6 years old and weigh 10 pounds.
