Rabbit (Smokey) Shepherd & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Paramus, NJ

Rabbit/Smokey is a gorgeous 8-month-old seal colored shepherd pitbull mix. She is the queen of the wiggle butt cha cha! Rabbit is super friendly an extremely smart. She was taken in by a Good Samaritan in NC who found her wandering the streets. They contacted us and asked if we could please rescue her as they did not want to send her to the shelter where she would ultimately be euthanized. Shortly after bringing her to NJ we learned that she was pregnant. On April 26 she gave birth to 8 adorable puppies. Rabbit is a great mother. She nurtured and nursed her babies and they are all thriving. Now that the puppies have been weaned, Rabbit is ready begin her new life, in loving home.

Rabbit knows how to sit, walks well on a leash and is house trained. She gets along with kids and dogs. She weighs about 40 to 50 lbs and is up to date on shots. She is spayed, tested negative for heart worm and was recently microchipped.
Rabbit is going to require a lot of exercise. A hiking couple would be ideal for her as well as a fenced in yard for her to zoom around in.

Regarding her name...it was originally Rabbit but we have been calling her Smokey due to her gray coloring.
