Rabbit's Story

Rabbit has a knack for making people smile! He even "talks" back when you ask him questions!
Rabbit was surrendered to the shelter because his owner is now homeless and had no place for him. She was absolutely heartbroken to part with this special boy.

One of our favorite things about Rabbit is how much he interacts with everyone who comes into the barn. From chatting with us as we work (with a responsive woof or two), to interacting with our younger volunteers who come to play with the dogs, Rabbit makes every moment enjoyable. One of the children even brought Rabbit a special unicorn blanket which he now nests in every night and is very proud of—a true testament to his one-of-a-kind personality!

He is house-trained, and he especially loves to hike and swim. Rabbit is great with kids and other dogs. Rabbit’s playful yet mellow energy makes him the perfect companion for outdoor adventures and quiet cuddles alike.

Could Rabbit be the paw-some pal you’ve been searching for?
