ROcco's Story
Rocco is a certified good boy. That's it. That's the profile!!!
Around 3 years old About 50 lbs. Mixed Breed

Okay, fine, there's more.

Rocco came equipped with a pair of eyes that seem to look directly into your soul. We're not sure if he's casting spells or what but give him .05 seconds and you will for him.

At around 50 lbs., Rocco would like to make something very clear: he is a lapdog. The vet may have opinions about his weight. Rocco disputes those claims and will happily demonstrate by attempting to fit all 50 pounds of himself into your lap.

He loves people, toys, affection and getting involved in whatever is happening. He is interested in playtime with other dogs, walks nicely on leash without dragging you around, and we're pretty sure he loves cats. Unfortunately, the cats generally see Rocco coming and choose evacuation, so negotiations remain ongoing.

As for his breed? We're going with Not-A-Pit-Bull Mix, and we will die on this hill.

Rocco doesn't need everyone to immediately understand him. He just needs one person to give him a chance to prove what we already know:

Rocco is a lover.

And despite what the vet says about being around three years old, his actual age is obviously baby.

+ Shelter staff informs:
While we can't guarantee that this dog is 100% house trained, it is a very clean dog that spends days in a big outdoor run and nights in sleeping quarters. We also find no bedtime accidents in the morning. We do not know for certain how this dog would do living with children, as we do not know if it ever lived in a home environment with kids yet. However, this dog has not shown aggression toward any humans, of any age, at the shelter. As with any dog, we always recommend careful supervision and slow responsible introductions and interactions when children are involved.

Rocco is fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped & up to date on his flea, tick & heartworms prevention.

Rocco is a lover.
And despite what the vet says about being around three years old, his actual age is obviously baby.
