Quinnie's Story

Who needs a bright light in this dark world?

Quinnie is beaming all the time, and no one can pet her or greet her without smiling. She is a 2-year-old ray of sunshine in brindle form, and she weighs about 60 lbs.

Petting a dog has health benefits for humans, so Quinnie wants you to know that belly rubs and scratches through her soft coat are a couple of her very favorite things. You'll feel calmer, and Quinnie will be in heaven. Win-win!

This girl knows how to play and have a good time - whether it's with other people or with other dogs. She'll make her own fun, or she'll be first in line to inspect all the toys in the toy bin and get things rolling. She is great on a leash, so a walk in the neighborhood or down a nice, long path would be relaxing and pleasant for all involved. She's happy to meet new people or dogs along the way - she definitely makes friends easily.

Cuddles and snuggles are in order after you've had your fun. Back to those belly rubs, Quinnie says. Her companionship and presence will help keep you focused on all that's good in the world.

She can jump a 5-foot fence, so you'll want to be with her when she's in a fenced yard (or make a plan to keep her contained out there). Kids make her light up too, but she'd probably do best with kids 8 and older in the home.

Quinnie is crate trained, house trained and as happy as can be. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on preventatives. Her adoption fee is $175. You want to meet this girl, trust us! Pawsitive Tails's Adoption Policy
Pawsitive Tails is dedicated to matching the needs and personality of our dogs with your family. We are not in a hurry to adopt out our dogs; we want to make sure the match is perfect for everyone. All of the dogs in our rescue live in foster homes with both the human and furry members of our families. Our adoption process begins with an application which can be found under the "adopt" tab on our website, www.pawsitivetailskc.org. Please complete the form in full; the questions we ask help us to fully understand what type of dog you are looking for, and to make sure you get the very best fit. Incomplete applications will not be processed. If you do not include a vet phone number, a landlord phone number (if applicable), or 3 complete references, we cannot process your application. We will contact your Veterinarian, so please make sure to call them to release your vet history to our volunteer. &nbs
