Quinn 's Story

Meet Quinn!

Her sister’s family did DNA and it’s attached below.

Quinn is a white and brown speckled mixed breed with the gentlest soul and the kindest eyes.
Hi… it’s me, Quinn.
I’m almost 8 months old now and around 35 pounds — kind of past the tiny puppy stage, but still very much a kid at heart. Since I became a Ruby, lots of people have asked about me… but no one has really come to meet me yet.
I like adoption events. They’re busy and exciting. There are usually lots of teeny puppies there, and most people come for them — not me. That’s okay. I still wag my tail and hope maybe someone will notice.
I love people. I really love kids, and kids seem to love me right back. I’m great with other dogs and always down to play. I also really enjoy chasing chickens… but apparently that’s “not allowed.” I don’t totally understand why — they look like snacks — but I’m trying my best to learn the rules.
Before I became a Ruby, I lived my whole life running free. I was found on a farm with my sister Maeve. She had a broken leg with old gunshot fragments still inside, and I stayed with her. She was hurt, so I protected her. Maeve has been adopted now, and I’m so happy for her… but I’m hoping it might be my turn next.

Apply to adopt:
https://rubiesandrogues.com/pages/placement-application

Our socials and additional links:
https://linktr.ee/rubiesandrogues

Our adoption process focuses on the specific needs of the animal. We require committed adopters as a majority of our animals have medical needs. Adopters must be open to a home check. This is to ensure that the information provided in the placement application aligns with the actual home setting. Depending on the animal and their needs multiple meet and greets may be required.
