Quinn's Story

Introducing an extremely special girl, Quinn! This Special Needs girl has the most incredible personality to go alongside her gorgeous face and adorable wiggly body.

Quinn is a tiny, scruffy terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At just around 10 pounds, she’s paralyzed from the waist down due to a past spinal injury, but don’t let that fool you—this girl is a powerhouse of joy, energy, and sass.

Quinn either uses her wheelchair to zip around or she drags herself with the assistance of drag bags. Either way, she’s FAST! She requires bladder expression several times a day since she cannot go on her own. She’s used to this routine and handles it like the confident little girl boss she is. Her ideal family would be comfortable learning her care routine—she’ll happily teach you with her expressive eyes and wagging tail.

She loves warm baths while vibing to her favourite Spotify playlist, is always down for dress-up time (she has a full wardrobe), and is as food-motivated as they come. She has a very active social life, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, enjoys car rides, and thrives in a loving, engaged environment. Quinn is not just a survivor—she’s the ruler of the pack, the fastest zoomer on wheels, and the definition of resilience.

You might think that with her injury, she’d be held back in some way, but this is simply not the case. In fact, she’s kind of a little Alpha! And she’d love to have a similarly sized doggie sibling in her forever home. At 1.5 years old and weighing 13lbs, this girl is the joyful life of the party!

If you’re looking for a smart, joyful, and uniquely special companion, Quinn just might be your perfect match. She’s ready to roll into your heart—and your home.

Quinn is being fostered in Austin, TX and is adoptable throughout Texas and Northeastern states.

*All breed listings are educated guesses and not guaranteed*

PREFERS A HOME WITH:
Doggie sibling.
