Quinn's Story
Quinn is another pup that made her way to us from Jamaica in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. Quinn is a reserved, 2-year-old gal who does not understand why she needs a leash to go for walks. She is sweet but very nervous. She has been through a lot, so just needs a patient person to show her how to be a family pet rather than a free-range dog on the streets. Her calm nature will likely help her transform into a lovely pet who bonds strongly with her person. Ready to take a chance on Quinn? She will be worth it!

We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there.

Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need.

Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
