Quincy's Story

Meet Mama Quincy – A Loyal, Loving Companion Ready for a Home

Quincy’s journey began on the very day the world said goodbye to the legendary Quincy Jones—and just like her namesake, she has a star quality all her own. Rescued in a time of transition, this sweet girl has brought warmth, joy, and so much heart to those lucky enough to know her.

Affectionate and soulful, Quincy is the ultimate cuddle companion. She gives gentle hugs, seeks out snuggles, and always keeps an eye on the ones she loves. On walks, she does adorable little bunny hops and checks back often to make sure you're still with her. She thrives on connection and simply wants to be where the love is.

Quincy enjoys life’s simple pleasures: squeaky and crinkle toys, walks in the fresh air, soaking up the sunshine, and taking in all the sights and smells around her. She’s house-trained and reliable with pee pads when needed. She’s also wonderful with people, greeting guests with ease and openness.

While Quincy is deeply loyal and loving, she’s still figuring out how she feels about other dogs. She’s shown she can bond well, having formed a sweet relationship with her foster’s youngest pit bull, but she may need time and patience with new dog introductions.

Quincy’s ideal home is one where she can soak up attention, feel safe, and continue to blossom. She would thrive with a family who embraces both her playful energy and her quiet moments of closeness. Her current foster family is moving and can no longer keep her, so Quincy is in urgent need of a foster or adopter who can give her the stability and affection she deserves.

If you’re looking for a dog who’s affectionate, loyal, playful, and full of heart, Quincy may be your perfect match. She’s ready to give her whole heart to someone—could it be you?

Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.

APPLY on our WEBSITE:
Rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt
Rebeldogsdetroit.com/becomeafoster
