QUEENIE's Story

I'm excited to find my new home! I will need a home without cats - I do not do well with cats. But, if you have the right spot for me, I'll make you smile every day! Insights from Dog Adventure Buddies: Queenie started off very shy, she didn’t seem to want to get into the car but quickly warmed up to it and to us. She seems very adaptable and did well in a variety of settings (petco, home, outside). She was very quiet and didn’t seem to make any noises. Definitely very cautious in new places but warmed up and came out of her shell some. She loves to be on our laps and snuggle up, and did well in the car and even slept on our ride back to the shelter. Our favorite things about her is how affectionate she is and how comfortable and calm she is once she trusted us. She was so soft and playful which we loved, she didn’t seem too interested in the toys or treats but just wanted to play and cuddle!
