Quartz's Story

Meet Quartz and Domino, the two quarry pups we've been lucky enough to foster.
They are both 9 weeks old and as sweet, cuddly, and playful as you may imagine a quintessential pair of perfect puppies to be.

Quartz is a little girl. She's young so I don't want to false-promise that she's potty trained because I know dogs need further adjusting through adolescence, but she has not had an accident inside once since we've had her. She goes like a champ in the yard. Like Ariel, she wants to be where the people are and is so excited to see us all the time.

Compared to his sister, Domino is a little more relaxed. He is perfectly happy to take a nap whenever and wherever, including on top of his water bowl. And he couldn't be more chill while being cradled in arms or having his paws wiped after being in the damp yard, etc. He does well with pottying most of the time, but we've been a few moments too late to get him outside a time or two.

Both sleep well in crates overnight and don't make messes in the crate.
Both are champion cuddlers and playtime professionals, going from sweet naps to extreme zoomies in a few minutes.

Quartz is adventurous and agile while Domino is more relaxed but loves to romp and wrestle with his sister.

They are keeping us all busy, but we're all in love and can tell they will both be wonderful companions.

Apply: https://www.yavapaihumanetrappers.org/preadoption-application
