Quartz's Story

🐾 Meet Quartz - A Resilient Girl with Energy, Heart, and Potential. Kid friendly!! 🐾
📅 Age: 2-4 years
🐶 Breed: White Bully Mix
⚖️ Weight: ~62 lbs
💉 Status: Fully Vetted, Spayed, Ready for Adoption

Quartz is a strong, spirited girl who's been through a lot and is now ready to focus on being a dog again. She may come off a bit avoidant at first, especially in new environments, but she is non-aggressive and warms up with encouragement and positive engagement. Once she feels comfortable, her social, bouncy, and affectionate personality really shines.

On leash, Quartz is easy to get out of her kennel but can be a moderate to strong puller--she's very environmentally focused and likes to take everything in. She shows mild responsiveness to leash pressure and appears to be house-trained based on her outdoor behavior. During handling, she enjoys affection (especially butt scratches!) and while she can get overstimulated or wiggly during exams, her behavior comes from excitement--not fear or defensiveness.

Socially, Quartz does best once a handler builds rapport. She seeks interaction, offers check-ins during free roam, and stays connected to her person. She may bark at fast-moving strangers from a distance (like skateboarders), but she remains near her handler and shows no forward or aggressive intent.

🐶 Quartz at a Glance:

Fully vetted and spayed

Sweet, affectionate, and social once comfortable

Enjoys petting and seeks human interaction

Easy to leash and remove from kennel

Appears house-trained

Knows "sit"

Energetic with a playful, bouncy personality

Mild, manageable reactivity at a distance

🏡 Quartz' Ideal Home:

Confident adopters who understand energetic dogs

A home that can provide structure, engagement, and continued training

Someone patient who will let her warm up at her own pace

An active household that enjoys an affectionate, interactive companion

Quartz is resilient, loving, and ready for a fresh start.
