Gateway Pet Guardians's Adoption Policy
Gateway Pet Guardians adoption process is low barrier and easy! The adoption fees are $195 for adult dogs, $250 for puppies , $75 for adult cats and $125 for kittens. We also offer a buy one, get one half off adoption fee when you adopt any two cats or kittens! (this covers the pet's spay/neuter surgery, microchip, vet check, vaccinations and any other necessary vet care). You can walk into our shelter located at 725 North 15th Street in East St. Louis, IL any Tuesday - Friday 2-6 pm or Saturdays 9am - 3 pm and adopt! Please note we go by a first come first serve basis for adoptions so please keep that in mind when setting up your adoption meets. Due to high volume of emails we will not be able to answer all emails regarding basic questions. Some things to note -If an animal is no longer listed on the site they are no longer available for adoption. -Applying for a pet requires no commitment towards the adoption. If you find out that pet is not the right fit for you, we can recommend another pet for you. Not ready to adopt? If you are not sure if you are ready to adopt a pet, please consider fostering!
