Lower fee!<br/><br/>Meet Pyper, a sweet 6-year-old, 40 lb. terrier mix. She’s past the puppy chaos and fully into her “best friend” years. She loves cozy naps, gentle walks, and being near her people. This smart and loyal lady will thrive in a calm home where she can soak up affection and show off her loving heart. Pyper has only lived in one home her whole life. Unfortunately, her parents were elderly and their health got to the point they felt they could no longer adequately care for her. Pyper is truly a good girl but she is petrified in the shelter. Bonus points: She is one of our easiest dogs to walk and keeps a sparkling clean kennel! Pyper can be a little selective with other dogs and doesn’t care for overly hyper or other dogs who are in her face. Slow introductions work best for this old gal. Please don’t let this girl’s journey end up at the shelter. We know someone out there can give this girl a calm and loving new life. (posted 2/22/26, Hope)<br/>Hope Dogs Lower Fees. Crossing Paths Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Crossing Paths Animal Rescue is not a shelter, our dogs are in a network of foster homes. We have transports of adopted dogs to Hagerstown, MD area and as far north as NEWTOWN, PA (and points along the way) at least every 6 weeks. Please see our website for adoption and transport fee info. www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org If you are interested in any of our dogs, the first step is to submit the application found on our website. List any dogs that interest you in order of preference. If you don't see anything right now, check back often as we update frequently. When your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dog's foster mom/dad who will answer any questions you may have and so that the foster may get a feel for your situation and determine if the dog will be a good fit for your particular household. If all that ends on a positive note, we'll finalize the adoption (process payment) and schedule the dog for transport, if needed. If you are uncomfortable adopting a dog without a prior face-to-face meeting and you are in the PA/NJ area, we have adoption events several times per year at a local Petsmart in NEWTOWN, PA for which we bring up 15-20 adoptable dogs. Watch our website for up coming events. * PLEASE NOTE: We review the applications in order of receipt and many of our potential adopters who are otherwise qualified miss out on a dog that has stolen their hearts because the application came in later than others of equal merit. Here's my advice: file the application ASAP. Don't waste time sending an inquiry asking info on the dogs and if they are available. We , on the front lines, don't know each dog personally; what we do know is in the description we have provided on Petfinder . We will let you know if the dog is available or not upon receipt of your application and, if not, give you the opportunity to select another.
