Putter's Story

Where in the world is the poky little puppy? RIGHT HERE!

This litter got their names because of their resemblance to the puppy from one of our favorite children's books. Just like the little pup in the famous story, Putter isn't always in a hurry - he believes life should be enjoyed one belly rub at a time. With his striking blue eyes and sweet personality, this handsome boy has perfected the art of balancing playtime and cuddle time.

Putter happily romps around with his siblings, but he always remembers to circle back for affection. In fact, he works very hard to make sure his schedule includes equal parts puppy play and snuggle sessions. Putter is a toy connoisseur and he will keep YOU entertained just watching how joyfully he plays with his favorite toys. Putter is a sensitive little guy who often needs a little extra TLC when he's feeling unsure of the big world. He's a growing boy who is looking like he'll be a bit on the larger side (maybe 65-75 pounds), but he's just a big BABY who wants to be loved...and to chase fun toys.

Mama dog is a cattle dog/hound mix and daddy is a mystery, but these pups have inherited the hound vocal stylings so are not best-suited for apartment life.

Cattle Dogs are often more active, athletic, and energetic dogs. This litter is definitely a mix of breeds, but there's always a chance they will have the Cattle Dog drive and need plenty of activity and mental engagement to be their happiest selves. These puppies are still very much babies, just starting to learn how to "dog", so they will need homes ready to teach them all the important puppy lessons they need to know to help them grow from poky puppies to amazing adult dogs.
