Ben and his sister Jerri (yes... Ben & Jerri ) were recently rescued from a rural shelter in Tennessee after being removed from a severely neglected situation where too many animals and too little food were the norm. What’s remarkable is that you would never know it. There is no fearfulness, no shutdown behavior, no emotional baggage — just a happy, bright, affectionate boy puppy who is thrilled to finally be noticed. Ben absolutely craves personal attention, and when you give it to him, he is so very happy and giddy almost. He is eager to please, highly food motivated, and going to be a dream to train. He’s already walking nicely on leash despite having almost no prior experience, which speaks volumes about her intelligence and willingness to learn. He’s playful, affectionate, and soaking up structure and routine like a sponge.<br/><br/>His look is unforgettable.
