PUPPERONI's Story

Meet Pupperoni, a gentle soul with a heart full of love waiting to bloom.
At just one year old, this sweet and shy boy longs for the warmth and understanding of a forever family.
Inside his kennel, Pupperoni can be barky, an anxious front that may keep some at arm's length. But outside, you'll discover the true Pupperoni: a loving companion who simply wants to be cherished.
When he first arrived at the shelter, everyday things like walking on a leash were overwhelming for him. He would freeze in place, unsure of his surroundings. Thanks to the patience and encouragement of our volunteers, Pupperoni has blossomed and he is now enjoying his daily walks, exploring new scents, and experiencing the joys of just being a dog. He gets playful around other dogs in neighboring yards but truly shines when soaking up gentle affection from people he trusts. All he needs is someone willing to offer patience and kindness- a home where he can feel safe enough to let his personality shine.
If you have room in your heart to guide this tender pup as he finds his confidence, please consider welcoming Pupperoni into your family.

Pupperoni recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine. He wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as he gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, he’ll be ready to show us his silly side with other dogs. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out his playgroup video here:

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
