PUPCUP's Story

Pupcup, also known as Kingsley, is a lovable Lab mix with endless energy and a heart full of joy. He’s a wonderful family dog who greets everyone warmly, including new people who come to meet him. On walks, he isn’t reactive to other dogs and mostly ignores them, though he will pause to watch birds with curiosity. He could use a bit of leash training since he sometimes bites his leash, but he’s a very smart pup who has already learned “sit” and knows to ring a bell when he needs to go potty. Pupcup has settled beautifully into a routine—he falls asleep in his playpen around 9 PM regardless of household noise, sleeps through the night, and waits quietly in the morning, giving his family the chance to sleep in. He rarely barks, even at the doorbell or when hungry, and can entertain himself for short periods with tennis balls and chew toys. He’s playful and enjoys other dogs, though his enthusiastic body slams may be a bit much for older pups. He has no major destructive habits like chewing furniture but, as a high-energy puppy, he needs solid exercise twice a day or several shorter walks to prevent zoomies and nipping from pent-up energy. A fenced yard would suit him well, though he may need light supervision in the garden to protect the landscaping. He can be slightly anxious getting into the car, but otherwise he’s confident around people and everyday noises. With continued guidance and activity, Pupcup will grow into an incredible companion ready to fit beautifully into his forever family’s routine.
