Parker is ready to steal your heart and fill your life with tail wags and unconditional love! Rescued by K-9 Lifesavers from a shelter in Lee City, Virginia, Parker is now looking for a forever family to call his own. At just 7 months old, this lab mix is the perfect blend of affection and charm. He's super sweet, a little on the submissive side, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Parker is in his prime for training and socialization, and he's eager to learn and grow with a family who will love him forever. Parker is well on his way with potty training and is nearly there! If you're looking for a loyal companion to share your days with, Parker is your pup. Come meet this gentle boy today—he's ready to bring fun, love, and joy into your life!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
