Dean and his brother, Pup Sam, found themselves somewhere no puppy should ever have to be — a crowded shelter in Alabama. Thankfully, K-9 Lifesavers stepped in, and now these boys are safe and searching for their respective forever homes!

Dean is as sweet as they come. He's playful, affectionate, and always ready for a little fun. And judging by his photos, this athletic little guy might just have a future in professional swimming — or he may simply be looking for a best buddy who's ready to play, explore, and enjoy life right alongside him!

He's at the perfect age for training, socialization, and bonding with his new family. Dean is already fixed and ready to start his next chapter. Could this lovable, fun-loving pup be the missing piece in your family? Apply today and give Dean the forever home he deserves!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
